Hi Grogg , love the idea of star gazing. I hope the wine was worth the £9.80!
We can’t get over the difference from prices we paid in Spain and what they are here now in UK. €3 for a glass of wine and a coffee,
We are off to support local pub today though, but really a big treat and catch up with friends.
For those wildlife lovers, I saw this beautiful deer yesterday snuggled up as was -4c.
I hope everyone has a good day, and can keep warm. xx
Thanks to everyone for your very kind comments about Graham.
I'm feeling okay, Scarlett is supposed to be coming this weekend (depending on weather conditions) because I'm not driving in snow. I'm having to go to pets@home to look at their piggies to get my guinea pig fix.
Scarlett will live in the kitchen, her house is next to the radiator. I don't lock them up so she is free to have a walk round if she wants.
I'm on annual leave (had to work Tuesday as there was nobody) and I have done everything. Presents, cards deep cleaned house etc. Got all the food except fresh stuff.
It's the staff Christmas party tonight but I don't want to go out at night, in the cold so probably will be on sofa finishing a jumper.
Hope everyone is okay and getting to grips with the preparations xxx
Snowys Mum it wasn't even a posh place. It was Nant Ddu lodge. Lovely food, outstanding staff but showing its age, especially in bedrooms. Wine by the glass always expensive - is it just Wales as Welsh Govt. has some rule on cheap alcohol as it cares about our health !!
We had a call to say come visit soon so I went empty handed. We stayed about 90 minutes and flowers had arrived and no more vases so I popped home to get 3. I might bake her a cake as she's having lots of visitors. We are also making a donation to BT research in his memory which we discussed as it's the poor relation of cancer research. It was a good visit. We shared happy memories and tears & hugs at the cruelty of the disease over the last year or so.
Has anyone bothered to watch the second lot of Harry etc show on Netflix? I understand it’s just more of the same? They must be having to live on the diminishing millions they left the UK on, need to get more publicity by making tv programmes about nothing very much to earn even more millions? I thought they left because they didn’t like publicity?
Cynical me!
Hugs xxx
