I've just caught up with all the posts. I'm really sorry I've not been on here much over the past week. Gosh, you've all been very busy!
I've not been feeling great to be honest. I have a feeling the Letrozole has kicked in. Every morning I have incredibly stiff and sore shoulder joints, which slowly improve as I begin to move about. My joints in my feet are painful too. I have an ongoing problem with my spine( herniated disc in the lumber region), which for the past 8 or more years has been kept under control pain wise by a monthly physio maintenance session. Last month the back pain didn't really go after physio, and this month it's even worse. I can walk for about 10 mins and then I just have to sit down because the pain is too much. Boy oh boy I wasn't prepared for it to come on in in one massive wave the way it has. Just at the moment the thought of putting up with this for the next 4.5 years minimum is more than I can mentally cope with. Sorry to be a moaning Minnie...rant over!!!

Dicha I am so sorry to hear you are suffering so badly. I too started to get terrible pains in my shoulders combined with immobility one side. I think the damage caused by the RT was exacerbated by the letrozole. It really is rubbish when people say you are better because you have finished your treatment. Tge ongoing effects continue to cause us problems and tge mental toll thst can take is totally played down by the professionals and underestimated by our friends6.
If you ever want to moan at someone who understands6, I am here xx
Mag123 I’m sorry I don’t seem to be able to say ‘like’ or ‘love’ but the pics of Prague are lovely!
Dicha , yes the Letrozole aches are truly horrible! That got changed to tamoxifen for me because of the pre-existing osteoporosis, just for my last couple of years, think I finish around next April. I’m not sure it helped with the aches much though, but I’ve been taking CBD oil and think it’s helped a good bit, I think my back got horrendously bad while I was caring for hubs though, and took a long time to improve after he died.

I’ve tried several suppliers, Mag123 , we do have a health food shop in the town, I bought from there a good few times, Holland and Barratt too as they get buy one get one half price quite often, but now I use the dreaded Amazon as they have one I like, expensive as it’s strong, but I only use a very small amount so it lasts ages. I think you try a low dose and gradually increase as you see how it hoes, it seems to take quite a while to get into your system, but honestly helps me loads.
Night night Fruit Loops, sleep well and stay safe, plenty of sleepy fairy dust for all who wish
