Struggling to reply to posts as I'm not getting text box unless I hit reply to original post from 5 years ago!
Loving the trees. Ours never go until after hubby's birthday on 9th. We only out one up and a couple of years ago we replaced our heavy, full 7ft tree with a light weight skinnier 7ft tree as with our dodgy backs it's lighter to get up and down the attic. I've been charging up my outdoor solar lights which will go outside on tree and a set in porch. I'd love to decorate the mantle over my wood burner but afraid it's a fire hazard as it's permanently lit through winter now. It's multi fuel so we use coal to keep in when freezing overnight.
For some reason I can't tag either but safe travels Mag & Karen. I'm lazy today and climbed back into bed after shower with a cup of tea. Didn5 get to sleep till after 5.30am!
I love the idea of the named stocking Tired Minion. It will be so exciting celebrating your first Christmas in your new home.
I hope your Dad is not in any pain. Good that you are getting a bit of a break from it.
Best of luck for the interview xx
Oh Grogg sorry to hear you struggled with sleep last night. It is such a cold day I think curled up in bed is the best place to be.
I must admit my husband struggled with the trees this year and I did find decorating them harder. We might need a re think next year. I am leaving decorating the rest of the house until we get back as my son and his fiancee can then help decorate.
Thank you for the well wishes for the travelling. I shall be glad when we have arrived!
I shall try to send pictures of the main square as it is so beautiful always xx

ourful!I went to a wreath-making class too.2 friends were doing it with me.I actually only went to get to know them better as I have a lovely Christmas wreath, and they asked me….So…the Assistant said mine was “a bit wild” and my neighbour said it looked like a Catherine wheel!but I must have my Artistic Expression!so anyway…when I got it home I gave it my neighbour who said it was very nice…she been helpful all year….I am afraid I am only artistic when feel moved by an idea!!
I made lovely friends with my friend and we are hopefully going to hear Handels “Messiah”….Getting out for me is getting to make friends as much as anything.Sometimes it is worth the expensive lesson!
After lockdown friends are SO important!I know of a few who willingly say they have mental probs after it…I can count on my hand the amount of people who told me this this week.
People are just the same the world over….I will try again to upload photos …
Am fortunate as ours is a very sociable Church ,but it did take a while….xx
