Grogg thats great! You’ve inspired me, might well have a wander with secoteurs myself, am sure that there must be some wire I can use from the garage!

I must admit I did feel a bit wobbly up the ladder with only 1 working arm but it looks so lovely with rooms having such tall ceilings

I have got lists prepared, box of cards down from the loft and will put up one collapsible tree (a purchase from Lakeland years ago,) it’s not tall but it’s stylish! And I’ve put the string of 50 lights around the bookcase already.

It snowed in Prague yesterday but I don't think it has stayed on the ground. 

I didn't realise we would be there for the celebration of Mikuláš. The Czech St Nicholas. It should be amazing.

Putting up small amount of decs tomorrow. Have bought 2 stocking with my name on and my partner for fun as this is the first Christmas in new home together and we have a mantelpiece over a log burner (which we can't use as unsafe so its being replaced in March next year and flue redone) but thats beside the point! Got a week off not driving home as my other sister is visiting but I do have a job interview. Love to all x
