Hi Fruit Loops. Hope you are all doing as well as you can be! Enjoying festive activities or watching some football. 

I was putting up our tree the other day and came across my 'Special' tree decorations...

Reminded me of the wonderful ladies/friends that I have made over the years on this site and more importantly this thread! Each Dec has now taken pride of place on our tree and they always remind me of what Wonderful Fruit Loops this thread has brought together! 

I know I haven't been on much this year and I feel a bit bad about that, however I know that if and when I need the Fruit Loops someone is always there! I am going to try hard to get back into the habit of chatting with you all, as I do miss hearing everyone's news! I just need to get my Thyroid sorted so I will 'hopefully' have a little more energy!! 

Sending Love and Hugs to all. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! I'm off to get locked in a room tomorrow with my mum and sister!! Hopefully we can work out how to escape in under an hour  Always good fun!

Ah LondonLass what gorgeous decorations. So very special. 

I have put the three main trees up in the Sitting room, the dining room and in my bedroom. Just the three mini ones to do. I had really wanted the whole house decorated before we went away but I can't get boxes down from the loft and my husband has been working from 6 am until 2am next morning all week so hasn't been around to help me.

One last push today to get things done but I need to pack the suitcase ready for Prague. 

Lots of ups and downs at the moment , feeling very emotional at the slightest thing and am unintentionally being very ratty with everyone. Hugs much appreciated seaspirit44 xx

NorthernerI did day 3 of your advent calender yesterday and bought my feind a coffee…she said no she wld buy it but I insisted saying I had to it was on my Advent Calender…

LondonLassIt is good you will be coming back a bit more…it will do you everso good and you need people,everyone does…if lockdown taught me nothing else…it was that…for Christmas presents for friends this year I am making little bags of “stocking fillers”….it gets so expensive otherwise!

Having fun buying the odd small thing I know they would like and popping in things Ihave around….xx

Violetsnifflove the littke gift bags.  My next project in sewing class will be fabric reusable gift bags.  I also went to a WI wreath making afternoon today.  Aside from Oasis, orange slices and a few bobbles everything sourced from the woods behind my house, bush in mine or neighbour's gardens plus other attendees spares. 

Im also rallying my neighbours to donate a small selection box for my local foodbank.  Today is my first allocated drop off to my porch and so far I've collected a dozen plus Ive bought 6 by adding a couple when I've shopped.  I hope to get about 30 to drop off next week.  I won a prize in foodbank raffle too for eyebrow tint and shape.  My niece asked me to buy tickets for her daughters swimming teacher - she has additional needs due to CP and a charity subsidises the lesson for parents as they need 1 on 1.  She laughed when I sent back list of prizes with line though saying I don't want those!   Winning is fabulous feeling but I'm happy to pass on many prizes !
