Dear Sal/LondonLass, I understand your grief, my dear friend, can totally relate. But Jenny wouldn’t want you to feel sad all the time, she’d love that you still celebrate the milestones on your amazing thread, too!
I understand, too, the lack of ability to join in with stuff your sisters were planning, sometimes our frail bodies let us down, but we have to face that and try a different tack, to using the skills we still can use.
Sending love and the biggest hug xxx

My hubby finds it stressful too and sits there telling me what to say while I mouth foxtrot Oscar at him. I have to be in mood to do it though. We've done our DNA and my ancestry membership had expired so I needed to renew. From Facebook there was 69% annual membership link but like a few other posters it just wouldn't work. Trued online chat to ask if any discounts about and got a flat no, Last chance rung and she gave me worldwide for 12 months for £89! My hubby's results are in. Waiting for mine.
Thanks moomy, don't you worry I have Jennys voice ringing in my ears saying "you enjoy life" and most of the time I do. It's just some days things get on top of me. I'm sure most of us know that feeling!
I wanted to start doing some sort of craft again. I used to love cross stitch, but sadly my fingers aren't able to feel the needle properly anymore so I get frustrated and then lose concentration. So it's not fun anymore.
Then I thought I might try Loom knitting. However the first time I used it I ended up with swollen fingers and shooting pains up my arm. I think it aggravated my Lymphoedema or possible the arthritis in my fingers. But I've kept at it, doing a little bit every other day.
Now bear in mind it's only a practice. I don't think it's looking too bad?!!

Might end up being a scarf for one of my sisters!! Possibly!!!
Glad to see you back LondonLass your knitting looks great . Here’s an idea if you don’t fancy it being a scarf …A local knit and natter group has asked people to knit draughty excluders basically a long sausage shape stuffed with old tights or similar .
They are donating them to sheltered accommodation and foods banks to help people keep warmer indoors .
That’s amazing LondonLass, lovely weave (if that’s the right term). xx
