.
I just phoned him to say night night, he’s had a long sleep (that’s good and healing) and has just properly got into bed and warmed up (he’d got a bit cold)

Good morning.....
Today will be beautiful but tomorrow as we start our holiday, storms are again forecast.
Many schools start their summer holidays here today.
Yesterday I saw my first field of sunflowers. They are late this year.
If I appear to disappear for the next 10 days, it will be because I don't have good internet connections. I do have 4G but not unlimited data so I need to be a bit careful.
I shall be thinking of you all. Treatment, holidays, working,.........life is beginning to return to some normality.
We have all been incredibly lucky even if it doesn't always feel that way..........
Love to all. Take care of yourselves and your partners......Karen
Lovely to have a read through and catch up on posts. I'm loving the wildlife rescue stories - the bee and the owl.
moomy sorry to hear husband is back in hospital but hope you can rest a bit knowing he is being well looked after.
Good luck to those starting chemo. The unknowns at the beginning are a worry but once you get going you'll soon tick them off. Pleased to hear some good results and cancer gone in surgery.
Grogg I'm intrigued by the easy fit blinds. Are they only for doors or windows as well? Sounds perfect for what I will need at new house when I finally get there. The saga still continues!
Avoiding the stress of it with continuing training for Mighty Hike. Did a 14k walk on Tuesday. Also working a few shifts. Had an observation yesterday which went well. I think that is the last one now and just waiting for results to finish Care Certificate. And second weekend of Music Festival now on. I'm finding going out in the evening very tiring! I only managed to stay til the interval yesterday! And enjoying watching some amazing tennis.
Have a good day everyone.

Ooooh, yes, the tennis is good but with Wimbledon courts seeming a bit more slippery it makes for some worrying falls?
Morning all, thinking of anyone who has worries of any sort today and hoping all goes better than you fear……

Happy Day all,
I think you should have it all LondonLass!xx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
I agree I too would love to know more about easy to fit blinds, , please do fill us all in on them!!!!
Visited hubs who is better again though still frail and a bit pale, but getting his bossy hat back on, great to see!
He may be home Monday, will see. Daughter has been amazing (as a lass who went through sooooo much she knows exactly how it feels as a patient, - for any who don’t know, it’s in my profile - and also says that carers have a hard time) but has gone home now.

. Doors and windows but only upvc windows that have rubber seal inside. You measure inside from rubber to rubber across & down then you need to do depth for the frame. I'll find a YouTube video that explains . These are my dinning room doors & windows. https://youtu.be/6acoeqhdYto We went for Venetian but you can have pleated
