  • I slept well last night with my audio and feel very emotional reading all the good wishes from everyone this morning. I’m as prepared as I can be and knowing LP will be there and all you lovely ladies cheering me on who are in the same boat is a huge comfort.
not gonna lie I’m a bit apprehensive, my appointment is at 2pm so passing the morning with a walk with my daughter. Will let you know how it all goes later

I’ll try not to let LP get too out of hand, he might be good at helping the nurse dish out drugs but more likely he’ll be at the biscuit trolley! Will send him back after he’s done a relaxation with me so he’s not too excited for the next appointment.
good luck to everyone else with appointments and treatments this week.
I know loads going on but finding it hard to scroll back and see all posts so I’ll just say I hope all health problems get sorted and all discussions with docs and plans go smoothly for everyone this week. Sending love and hugs to all FruitLoopsHeart️

  • Good morning everyone , I'm still rather puzzled that both my 1st and 2nd replies last evening have now appeared one after the other!! the wonders of this site I suspect. Obviously I would not have done the 2nd one if the 1st had appeared. Still my wishes were heartfelt twice over.
Anyway weather here is damp - the sort of rain that gets you wet without you noticing , or so hubby tells me!! I hope all appointments go well today. Love to all Fruit Loops xx

  • Hi I hope all goes well with your increased dose of your chemo this week. You really shouldn't be having to organise getting dressingsand arranging tests etc.  but I suspect you will make a much better job of the organising than those who should be co ordinating it all.! If you ask your GP?Practice Nurse they may be willing to prescribe a double amount of dressings so that you always have a months supply in hand., thus giving a bit more leeway in the system to allow for shortages in these weird times. (We often tried to do this when I worked in the community- fingers crossed it will work for you) Take care of yourself - sending gentle hugs xx

Wishing everyone well with appointments/treatments.  I do hope LP behaves and does not cause too much disruption. Although I am working on reduced hours my son is with me today as his boss brought him home from work due to him getting upset bless him! He seems better now though! Thank you for all your well wishes!  Yes DClem, it can be quite emotional knowing that all those lovely fruit loops have our back and are thinking of us.  Love to you all xx

  • Good luck to everyone with today's appointments & treatment!  It's been a busy few days here.

My hubby had call this morning to go for vaccine jab tomorrow at GP surgery.   He's 59 and in shielding category.      Quicker than getting a dental appointment.  I have to wait till 10th Feb and then only  assessment.  If I need replacement filling - pain suggests I do , I have to make another appointment!

  • Busy on here... hope all appointments, treatments go well today.

.. good to hear there is a plan to sort your knee.

... I always think you are superhuman the way you sort everything ... super organised unlike those who should be organising such. Fingers crossed your increased chemo doesn’t cause much in the way of se’s and that it zaps those tumours thereby easing your pain ... do hope you get to meet up with your friend ...hugs xx

... sorry you’re being plagued by such awful reflux.

    Xx
