Don’t worry, LP shall be with you tomorrow  well actually it’s going to be later today, now!! 
LP is currently sound asleep. I on the other hand have Acid Reflux  My throat is burning and I’m wheezing as if I smoke 20 a day!! so bloody frustrating! 

seaspirit44 glad things went well and fingers crossed that’s when you’ll get your knee replacement. I know there was lots of talking a while back about how long patients are having to wait for surgery. Let’s hope that’s being helped by the vaccinations! 

On that subject  I hope your vaccination went well. Hope it will, in time, give you a little more reassurance!

Sorry to hear you are back having reflux Sal, have you pinned down anything that exacerbates it ? Seaspirit , pleased you are getting your knee sorted ....I have had a lot of pain lately and I got aT which showed it is due to the liver tumours , which I suspected , so they are going to increase my dose of chemo , starting this week , hope this doesn’t substantially increase the side effects! Im still having my “ main “ problem ( ! ) which is getting the GP to order the dressings I need ,and for the pharmacy to fill the prescription ....in some sort of co ordinated way ......I am doing almy “ admin” , arranging blood tests , getting dressings , sorting out PICC flushes , booking CTs etc etc , I need a secretary !!  I had planned to meet a friend in my bubble to walk round a local fid today, but it is pouring down ....she might not be keen . A lot of people I know are getting their jabs , which is great , the West Country is doing well ....a few of them have been ill afterwardsith headaches, swollen joints , nausea, but 3 of the people getting side effects are those who have actually had Covid in the first wave , I wonder if it is connected ?? Not able to page back , so Iope you are all coping , best wishes if you are waiting for results ,or starting chemo , remember only about 340 days till Christmas and Boris might reduce the tiers by then ! Love .....me  x

Hi , great to see you posting! Sadly I can’t work out what is causing the reflux! It’s all very random. But over the last few months it has definitely got worse! I was due to have the gastroscopy repeated back in November but with the Covid situation it never happened (not that I really want to go through that again anyway)! But I think if things carry on like this I might need to speak to my GP and get another test done
I hope the rain stops long enough for you to be able to go for your walk. I find getting out every day for a walk gives you a chance to clear your head. Which with everything you are dealing with, can only be a good thing. 
I feel angry with your medical team they really aren’t doing their job! It shouldn’t be your job to get everything organised!! But we’ll done you on being proactive and giving them the kick they clearly need! 
It was interesting to hear your thoughts on the vaccination and side effects. Mum and Dad had no side effects! I had read somewhere that younger people were possibly more likely to have side effects, something to do with the immune systems response! So I suppose people who have already had Covid, might well have a different response to those who haven’t. Who knows! Let’s face it even with the ordinary flu vaccine some people get side effects and others nothing. Just goes to show, we are all individuals!

Yes Thanks GodWilling I am on tablets and take a Gaviscon like liquid when required, but I’m starting to think, that might be every night now 

Anyway! More importantly I believe it’s a big day for Dclem4! Hope you slept well Hun and you aren’t feeling too nervous this morning! What time is your appointment? LP is already on the way and will hopefully be with you shortly......

I have explained that this is your first session and that you need him to stay with you holding your hand! He’s ‘promised’ to be good! However we all know that even when LP tries to be good the first sign of food or the chance of mischief and he’s off. So you’ll have to keep a close eye on him! 
On a serious note. Good Luck Hun. Remember we are all thinking of you and most of us have been there and come out the other side! You can do this and you will be out the other side before you know it. We will be here for you whenever you need us.

 so sorry to hear your in pain and how on Earth are you organising all that!!!!! It really should not be down to you, makes me so angry when you have enough to deal with, big hugs x
