.
Morning all!
I slept incredibly well (and late waking too!)
seaspirit44 thinking of you today and hoping all goes well.
Londonmumof2, hoping you continue ok, don’t ignore those peak flow readings though, I understand oxygen sats can drop steadily without you realising, so take care!
Lacomtekp I’m gutted that you can’t get the whole roof redone since the insurance company just paid for cheap tiles! My leg has gradually improved, thank you, I suspect it was the start of a vein going silly or muscle strain, who knows? But I’ve been wearing support socks on both legs ever since and it seems to have helped.
Everyone, have the best weekend possible, I have hubs’ hair to cut and Christmas cards to get down from the loft to start all those foreign ones so they reach where needed in good time!
oh, and it arrived safely,LondonLass and made me grin, thank you so much!

Hi
glad tso hear your BCN was sympathetic and by Jan you hopefully will be feeling a bit better in yourself . I went to an independent bra fitter " Sadie the bra fitter " I don't know what area you are in but there are a few trained fitters now with there own premises .
They are spot on ,no tape measures ,no pocket bra as they believe if it fitted correctly then prosethis stays put .
I was under no pressure to buy even told to waitbefore any purchase . They advised to take a bra that you usually wore prior to op but to put band expander on back so the cup size was correct but the expander took the swelling into account .
if that makes sense ?
I found the band expander a wonderful thing never went anywhere without one then if the op area was swelling I could get some comfort .
Hope you got out for your walk
Lacomtekp .. how silly they won't replace then rather than constantly repair them! Hopefully they'll be fine for a while now.
Jejke... glad that they agree you need a proper fitting. It's only a few weeks to wait, but if you decide on a been a boob there is a chart which works out size, and if it's wrong it's easy to swap it for a bigger/ smaller one though may take longer due to the Christmas post. They can also be used for swimming, and can be hand washed:)
Glad everyone slept well last night. I slept until 5am, had a pee and a drink and slept to 11am! I stopped my exemestane 3 weeks ago after my blood pressure went up really high in conjunction with my 2nd Zoledronic acid infusion, and the exemestane really messes with sleep so it's great to have that back. My test was positive as was my husband's test, though apart from feeling a bit tired and less hungry he's fine. At least if I get very sick he *can* do stuff. I ordered another oximeter which arrived today and my current reading is 96 -97, so ok. I read an article about certain antihistamines helping, including in benylyn chesty cough (thr drowsy one!) but they are over the counter chemist only sp can't ber delivered.
Have a good day everyone! X
Thank you lovely fruityloops for your good wishes. All went very well. I sang very quietly and it helped to keep me calm and my eye still.
LP must gave been tired. He was still snoring after I had had breakfast. He had a shower with me and insisted I used the hairdryer on him. He was quite scarily fluffy. He sang with me during the op,nd when we got back went out to nip someone because they forgot lunch
We were both going hypo so I gave him a piece of my dextrosol. He then had a sugar high and went running madly round in circles! I’ll never give him that again. After that he zonked put and I’m sending him back to you LondonLass on his magic carpet. Thank you, he is great company xxx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Glad you are improving Londonmumof2, take care. Lacomtekp sorry the ins co are so negligent, and hope your son gets the right van part. glad you had a positive response from the BCN.
Love to all fruitloops xxx

Hello,I just wrote a post and sent it and now I can’t find it!!!I bet it’s that naughty LP letting off a bit of steam after being in Hospital with you,!
I am so glad it went well and so glad you sang.(quietly)as you will know it releases something which helps...(sorry not sure what..serotonin maybe)...and I can’t stop thinking about LP who had a very amusing visit with you....having too much Scrumpy!!
sorrry can’t remember what else I wrote but lovely to see all on that photo again xx
oh,previous post has turned up!and a present for LP,I think....
Glad the op went well seaspirit44 but it sounds as if LP was up to some of his mischief, hope LondonLass can calm him down!
Glad your sats are good, Londonmumof2 and hope they stay that way!
Lacomtekp I really hope you get that roof sorted ASAP as leaks are just miserable! Hope the van part is ok this time for your son.
hope you start to feel more normal after chemo? And yes, I’m glad your BCN agrees and you get a much better prosthesis as a result!
Northerner your freezer must be a big ‘un, that’s all I can say!!!! Been making some mince pies today....
Hope everyone else (I’m dreadful with names) is doing as well as possible, and keeping up spirits; remember there’s a jab on the way though for many of us it will be a month or several before we get called. And I hope none of you are antivaxxers?!
