Lovely news, seaspirit44! Although of course the polyp is a pain. Plus of course the next procedure, hope it is straightforward! Totally with you on seeing a sphygmomanometer! Yes we binge watched The Crown too, isn’t it good?!
, I hope HotelNHS get you sorted and that you can get home again soon.
so sorry you’re weak and fall, but glad you can get help to get up, are you able to crawl to a chair and use that to help get up? Hope the scan shows it’s helping though....
Morning, fruit loops, it’s a sunny but chilly morning here but the forecast is for rain later. And then the chilly nights follow!
Stay safe, all

Goodness, you are a brave lady having your cataract removal without sedation!
And your poor granddaughter!I wonder if she is being bullied....your daughter has the right idea...
....how sad for you....I have taken to my room a couple of times too, during this lockdown...I do hope you can find Hope and a degree of happiness somewhere again....
Bless you...here is a flower for you...and xx
xxI am sure you know all the steps to take when you are feeling like that...making yourself do something,exercise,etc...the only help I can give is to suggest you take baby steps and start doing them....it has helped me more than I thought...be kind to yourself xxx
At last, at a cost of who knows what, a referral to a hand surgeon will be made! My GP surgery could have done that 6 months ago, rather than referring me to another ‘agency’ who discussed it on the phone and then agreed to refer for an X-ray. Then agreed to discuss the findings via another 2 phone calls.
fortunately I know the hand surgeons secretary who will look out for the referral!
oh dear, the extra hoops the NHS is making us jump through!

, sorry to hear that you are back in Hotel NHS, big hugs.
, sorry you are having such a rough time with your chemo. I hope the scan gives good news, and you don’t have to wait too long for the results.
Thanks moomy and Violetsniff fir good wishes.
Stay safe everyone xx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
moomy we have a referral centre in our area which polices referrals. Some are rejected, some are redirected. I think it is an outrageous insult to GPS whose clinical judgement is being undermined, and awful fir patients who have to wait even longer fir the treatment they need. One wonders if these people are medically qualified.
My granddaughter , who was school refusing, has now been back fir a week, doing well, and has been sent home as a contact has tested positive fir Covid. Now her sister has been sent home as well! ThCAMHS appt will gave to be virtual

Yes, seaspirit44, it’s got far worse since the last ‘reorganisation’ just after I retired and undermines the GP system I think. One of our GPs has done orthopaedics as his specialty too.
What a pity for your granddaughter, to get back into the swing of school only to have to isolate!

. Your local authority may have a lifeline button that you wear around your neck so if you fall you press button and it contacts someone to help xx
seaspirit44 good news about yours and hubby's results. You will be busy getting everything in place, sending you my best wishes.
I can assure you from reading the lockdown information from the government. The rules about not having visitors to you house Does NOT apply to you. Because you have medical and care needs which override any risk of infection from Covid. So all the friends who came to see you in your garden for coffee in the summer....well you can ring them up and ask........Friend A to come on Monday and bring you some lunch and help you change your sheets (because you can't manage to do it yourself) Friend B can come on Tuesday and bring you some cakes for afternoon tea and she can hoover upstairs (because you can't manage to do it yourself) Friend C can come on Wednesday and bring soup and sandwiches and clean the bathroom for you etc etc.
I am quite sure all your friends have been obeying the rules and will not be infectious. Furthermore as a single person you are entitled to be in a support bubble in any case. Also all the garden centers are open so if you are up to driving you should go shopping and be buying presents and treats for your garden. I am quite upset at you being on your own like this. Please get the nice friends from the summer to rally round.
I'm going to post this as worried it will disappear xxx
