.
Hi , sorry to hear you are in Hotel NHS AGAIN! Let’s hope your stay is short this time! I am sending LP over to keep you company. He wasn’t impressed at being woken up, so perhaps let him go back to sleep when he gets there! Although I’m sure once he smells any food he’ll be wide awake
Take care Hun. Thinking of you xxxxx
Thanks, LondonLass. The little fellow is here, and tucked up for sleep. He has had a biscuit to tide him over until morning, though.
Does LP fancy a trip to foreign climes on Tuesday? I know he enjoys the trip and the patisserie. I have oncology.....probably my last as the five year date looms. I don't anticipate difficulties so I'm not worried but this maybe LP's last chance of a French adventure. If he's busy with more important tasks I quite understand.
@Lacomptekp....
What lovely pictures to wake up to!and mmmmm that coffee smells good!!
...I hope all goes well for you with your hospital visit
and LondonLass....yes I agree ...the year is just whizzing by!!And yes,COVID is still out there!!
sorry ,Just reading back ...am again late to the Party!!this page seems To fill up so quickly!!
and.moomy..I do hope your daughter won’t lose her hair for the fourth time!!
and Grogg...regarding the Dunblane incident....I have not heard the “cover up”you speak of,but I have met the couple who lost their daughter in it.I was sitting by them in Chuch on Remembrance Sunday. They said they forgave as vengeance doesn’t get you anywhere. They were lovely and walked with me arm in arm (as I was there on my own)Back to where they stood for remembrance and to see my sisypter waiting for me.
...thankyou for your encouragement.Maybe I watch too much news but am still a little afraid.
. Good grief woman you bought a groupon deal for Hotel NHS! Is the food that good !!! Seriously though hope you soon feeling better xxx
Violetsniff. I stopped listening last night as I found it a bit difficult. A woman whose partner lost his daughter had written a book and been interviewed about book which was about cover up ! Bit too heavy so I listened to podcast on Thomas Hamilton about his early life - dysfunctional, his boys club, being kicked out of Scouts over concerns of his behaviour with young boys and then I fell asleep. I admire people who can offer forgiveness to murderers of their children. I know anger and bitterness eats away at you and you have to find a way to keep going but not sure I could be so charitable in such circumstances.
Up too early for my liking so
Goodness moomy ! I wonder if they have added historic figures to the data? I was shocked to see our borough (Haringey) jump 29 yesterday. In the last six weeks there were no cases most days, and the highest number on any day until yesterday was 4. Has anyone else noticed a jump yesterday?
I now know why, Londonmumof2 the first lot of figures were just from hospital testings, the big jump is now including all testings, ‘pillar 2’ as they call it!
Hugs xxx
Moomy
Snowys Mum, thank you for the reassuring post but I am still concerned, not so much for myself as for my overweight, diabetic hubs with pacemaker plus daughter with virtually no immune system. I would never forgive myself if I gave it to them!
I do hope Hotel NHS gets you sorted and home very soon, I’m sure LP will encourage them!
Hugs xxx
