Wow, I always wondered what they were called, now I know, thank you Lacomtekp!
just harvested a bit more lavender, I dry it in the airing cupboard for a few days. The lavender bushes are going to get dug up when we have the drive done anyway but we have more in the back garden, Hidcote this time. The front ones were a cheap offer I spotted in a store and they are very ‘leggy’
Jyst had a FaceTime call from daughter, she’s now done a few weeks of immunoglobulins and is noticing her hair coming out. She texted me the brand and yes, it’s listed as a ‘not known frequency’ side effect. So I told her to phone her team to discuss on Monday as she doesn’t want to lose her hair for a 4th time!
stay safe all

I’m so with you LondonLass. I feel left behind. All these people going back to normal, spreading the virus again. I do not feel safe out there. With the relaxation of the 2 metre rule there will be no social distancing at all. Many are not observing it any way. And Lacomtekp, , and others in beauty spots and bear the coast, it must be awful snd frightening to see the invasion of covidiots! There will be another wave

Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
I’ve just noticed our area has figures of positive tests jump in one day from 517 to 850. So it’s no wonder I’m nervous! I just corresponded in our town Facebook site and said I was nervous, and wear a mask in shops plus back away from folk, one ‘lady‘ replied she never wears a mask and doesn’t intend to! Now that I think is simply ignorant as well as downright rude to others. Yes, she may be virus free but she might, of course, be simply symptomless!

I'll order the sun for your visit as I think it's been shielding recently !!! From Monday us Walians can travel more than 5 miles as we've still been on lockdown. Not sure why we have to wait till Monday and there is nowhere further than 5 miles I want to go but at least I'll have a choice again.
I ventured into City centre today to collect Superdrug order! So quiet except for a queue for Primark which I didn't join as I'm ok for vest tops !!!!
I have to be up early as wedding dress shopping tomorrow at 9am !!! I need to sleep but listening to YouTube Dunblane cover up ! First I had heard about it - came across by chance . Thomas Hamilton records sealed for 100 years! I'll be awake all night now listening to this !!!

In spite of being in very close proximity to patients testing positive for Clovid 19, I never caught it. Unless I had it without the symptoms, but I really don't think I ever got it.
I gave liquid Paracetamol on a spoon to helpless patients with temps over 39.1c, burning up, coughing (yes I was wearing a mask and pinny and washing my hands all the time) and I never caught it.
We had one corridor we called the 'Red Zone' where they nearly all had symptoms, I had to go down this corridor three times a day, going from room to room with meds, mask on, hand gel between patients, but still holding hands with poorly patients, giving hugs when needed...and I never caught it.
I remember one lady coughing and the droplets landing on my foot !!! Ewe!! I remember getting this chap ready to go to hosp, he was burning up and coughing over us and I was on the phone to the hosp and they kept asking for different observations, so I was in a small airless room for 45mins (wearing a paper mask and pinny) and I never caught it.
I was in the home for 12 hour shifts, you have to take the mask off to eat and drink, I touched the phone, the files, the computer keyboard, used the loos, I know we were hand washing the whole time...but still I must have been exposed.
What I am trying to say is that if I dodged the virus in those conditions, and I am not super healthy or fit. I think that ordinary shopping or even going to a cafe or pub with healthy people a meter apart if you wash your hands should not be a risk.
Obviously if you are having chemo or any treatment which compromises immunity that is different. But to all other dear fruity ones, honestly everything will be good and virus free xxx
I obviously didn't run fast enough. I'm back in the Marsden with breathing problems. Currently on oxygen & i/v fluids & minerals, and a higher dose of steroids. I'm starting to think I'll never get off them.
Never mind. At least they are trying to sort it all out. I had a chest ct scan this afternoon, and the Brompton are setting up a cardiac pet scan. No date for that one yet.
I'll be here till Monday, at least.
