Popped in here to have a look. Had my first herceptin and perjeta today and return tomorrow for first docetaxel. Think the steroids must be impacting my sleep. Luckily DH will be driving as it’s 100 mile round trip. I’m supposed to be at my ex boss’s retirement dinner tomorrow evening so hope I will be up for it.

meantime it’s sheep counting time so long as they don’t wake my trusty bedside border collie.

  • Hi , sounds like a very long trip you have to contend with. Good Luck with your first Docetaxel, hope it goes well. On a plus the steroids should keep you awake through your ex bosses retirement meal. Hope you enjoy it! Xxxx

  • Good Morning all...... I say good but I really wish I hadn't made this appointment with my BCN as right now I am VERY happy to stay snuggled up in bed! But that's life! Hope everyone slept well.

I have a VERY excited little chap here! He's so looking forward to his day with Auntie , hope the appointment goes well Hun and that they don't find anything to worry about. So here he is washed, dressed and enroute......

Really hope he behaves. I've told him if he doesn't then he won't be allowed to Go with you again tomorrow!

Good Luck Hun, thinking of you. Please let us know how you get on xxx

  • He is just having a wee rest xx

Morning everyone, hope you all managed some sleep, good luck to those with treatment or appointments today, I am sure LP will look after you all if he is not to busy eating his treats, or eyeing up the nurses.

welcome , and anyone else that is new to the group.

  • ....aww @I do hooe thise sheep didnt disturb your border collie!!and if you ever dont need him, could I please have him?(just a thought.......only joking)Hope you get on ok with that ENORMOUS trip!!

The travell to- and from Hospitals has seriously pt me off getting any further treatment actually,l for instance, put off altogether making my reconstruction a bit neater.I know I could get volunteer transport etc,but.......

Also hoping the results are as you would wish ....hope no osteoporotic fracture...esp as you love your physical activity so much.xx

Anyway I made up a little limerick for you to cheer you on your way...

    ”*ahem*

A couple called Karen and Allan,

Lived on the island of Arran,

    while knitting his britches,

    She dropped a few stitches,

and now Allens’ bottom is barren”

    ’Welcome..

  • Good luck xx
