Hi. My Mum has had Radiotherapy for brain metastases. Her treatment finished 2weeks ago,& her hair started falling out last week. I'm Really after some advice please. When I was brushing her hair yesterday & today,although I am trying so hard to be gentle, she says her scalp feels "sore,a bit like pins & needles" She's got an appointment with "hair & beauty" at the hospital on Thursday, & she's asked me to help her have a shower & wash her hair tomorrow, but I'm reluctant as don't want to hurt her/aggravate her scalp. Has anyone got any advice please on a)if it's advisable to wash her hair atm, & b)any products that would be gentle on her scalp?
