2 years ago i developed a stage2 melanoma on my scalp which was removed and a WLE and SLNB were also undertaken. Results all clear with proviso that cells may have jumped. This week i was presented with stroke like symptoms, ct scan showed a brain lesion, inflamation and a small bleed. MRI suggests primary source was melanoma sight, a small nodule also in right lung seems to confirm this. I'm awaiting neuro plan but thought i'd reach out for any help, guidance or wise words this community may have. Still feeling very shocked and a bit broken as i feel i was just getting my lifeback on track
Hi Romy60
I can completely understand why you're feeling shocked at discovering that your melanoma has spread to your brain and possibly your lungs.
Although I haven't been in this position, I was diagnosed with melanoma 8 years ago.
Can I suggest that you also post this in the melanoma group as you'll then connect directly with others whose melanoma has spread in the same way.
Sending ((hugs))
