I’m doing well thanks 

I had two colonoscopies and had 6 polpys removed 

All of them was low grade and nothing to worry about 

However if i hadn’t of bled from them polpys they could have developed years down the line (Maybe)

It’s so easy to say, but i urge you not to get to anxious, people are correct when they say it could be lots of things and not always worse case 

I do have to have another colonoscopy in a year due to guideline checks , but i’m happy with that and will help me keep on top of it 

• Thanks so much for your rlp. I'm going to have to having endoscopy and colonoscopy which is freaking me out. I have got no idea how it's going to be. And I'm really frightened. Can I expect results on the same day or do I need to worry if they take biopsy. 

I’m no expert,  but it’s my understanding that the doctor will have a good idea if he sees anything sinister on the day (and tell you his findings) 

If there is any biopsies they will be sent away for inspection (but remember the doctor will tell you beforehand if he is concerned)

That was at least my experience and I found the wait for biopsies a lot easier due to his reassurance

Hi Samy. My FIT test gave a score of121 but I had no symptoms. I had a colonoscopy and a large polyp was removed. The day before yesterday I had my appointment at the hospital and he said cancer was found in the polyp so would now need a CT scan to see if it’s spread. What a shock I can tell you. Had bloods done and yesterday the nurse rang to say my scan is today (Friday). I’ve since had terrible pain in my tummy but think that could be stress! You definitely get told at the time of your colonoscopy if the see anything. And don’t worry about the colonoscopy the prep drink I had was the worst part. Good luck to you. Jan

Do you mind me asking if the blood was bright red or dark red? My FIT score was 283 got my colonoscopy Tuesday and I have very dark red blood clots

Hi. No I didn’t even know that I had any blood. It has taken 4 weeks from polyp removal to seeing the surgeon. I’ve just come back from my scan so don’t know how long I’ll have to wait now. It’s when the MDT meeting is. As everyone is saying it’s the not knowing and waiting. Did you have any other problems? I didn’t. What a journey we are on Jan x

Hii everyone,  I done my colonoscopy and endoscopy . I got my test results nothing was detected from colon it's clear yet they took few biopsies. I hope everyone who on this journey a very best. We are always one prayer away to be answered. And it can change anything. I'm happy to share my experience with scan if anyone worried just like me please don't everything will be fine.  All the very best.
