Well just had a phone call charging the time of my follow up next Friday to 0930 in the morning. As apparently I need a longer appointment.
Not really sure what that means or why I need a longer appointment than is usually required.
Makes alarm bells start ringing in the head as usual.
Hi Simc welcome to the forum and sorry to hear how worried that you are. It's hard to speculate about why they may want a longer appointment. They may want to do scans or get bloods done and get results back both of which can take time. Is that a reasonable supposition? Gail x
All reasonable supposition indeed. I have to assume it's something to do with the new tumours found and removed at my latest check up.
As I've only had 2 follow up appointments so far and they have been a quick chat it's left me feeling what's that all about, seeing as I didn't realise they had shorter and longer appointments for follow ups.
So still learning new things.

Hi Simon
Yes it kind of leaves you in limbo. It's a weeks wondering what it's all about. I would hazard a guess and say you are right about what they found the last time. They may put a plan to you and discuss this with you. I would take advantage of this longer meeting and bring a load of questions with me while the chance is there. Keep us informed Simon and best of luck.
Best wishes
Mark
Yep I totally agree and it's how I try to manage things but even still sometimes I can't stop the brain from doing what it wants no matter how much I try to put stuff to the back of the brain
