Hi Dolphin500 . I had a recent CT scan and got results by letter two weeks later. All good thankfully. I hope all goes well with your cystoscopy. Best wishes.
Good Morning 50s lady and welcome to the group. CT and ultrasound scans are not ideal at seeing inside the bladder and would not aways pick any abnormalities up. A cystoscopy is the best way of identifying anything untoward in the bladder. This is a camera in to the bladder. A quick and usually painless procedure . Best wishes.
Hi to all,
I had a cytoscopy on friday along with botox injections into my bladder and also had my catheter changed too they R saying no cancer but still getting lots of leakage the botox should stop from happening I have to go back in a months time.

Hi Dolphin500 . Good to hear from you and great there is no sign of cancer. Botox doesn't come up on here very often but we have heard of some success stories. I hope it works well for you and gives some relief. Best wishes.
Hi Dolphin500,
Fingers crossed for the Botox. I have a friend who found it helpful for her bladder problems.

Hi 50s lady . Good to know you have your cystoscopy booked so soon. It cuts down the anxiety of waiting . You will be able to see for yourself on screen and they will talk you through it and point any abnormalities out. Only takes about 10 minutes. I hope it goes well. Best wishes.
