Had my 6th month cystoscopy today and after having 2 clear ones last year was very much hoping for a clear result. The doctor saw a small patch which he thought should have a biopsy within the next 4-6 weeks, feel rather deflated. I suppose it is good they see it when it's small and hopefully it could be something and nothing but it's not that lovely feeling when you get the clear. Just wonder if the bcg is not doing it's job, it has since first diagnosed in June 22. Also wonder if they will continue after this is dealt with with the Bcg, I have 18. Onwards and upwards, but don't feel so positive.
I know Herothedog, I have read your posts over time and I remember you said this and it took you a good while to get the all clear, so pleased you have had 3 clear years, yep it's a long journey and so it goes on. Thanks for your response, so pleased to read your posts xx
Thanks Jane, yes my friend has had her house on the market a year, think she will have to lower the price. Yes I hope it's not cancer, all takes time 4-6weeks the appt then probably another couple wks for results
Hi Bumblebee49
Sorry to hear you have not had the clear scan we all wanted you to have. Keep your positive head on until told anything different and we will all keep our fingers crossed for you.
Sending you big hugs and positive vibes.
Love Ade xx
Thanks so much Ade, will do my best, I think it's just a bit of knock back as things seemed to be going so well all last year and this first 6 months, bump in the road I suppose, will get back on track. Like Herothedog said, she had 3 reoccurances throughout her 3 year treatment but got their in the end. Take care and thanks for the positive vibes x
So sorry the news was not what you hoped for
I also had 2 clear ones and then its a shock when you see something on the screen
Whatever it is I am sure they can treat it, its just the waiting that is so hard
Everything crossed for you, much love Tina X
Thanks Tina, yes it's a blow isn't it Hopefully will all be OK but who knows and we have to keep our chins up.
