I can’t believe it’s 4 years today since I was told I wouldn’t live long without a cystectomy.A huge thank you to everyone on here who has supported me through the slow recovery and mum’s death.Love to you all Jane xx
We now have to wait as much as a year to get the Land Registry done before putting it back on the market. Spending money doing it up a bit/keeping it going, that I doubt we'll recoup in the house price. Annoying, but not much else we can do. Trying to find time to do work on our own house too!
You have been through a lot from what I have read in the last year, I hope you are through the worst times and life will become more content soon. You are so helpful to everyone who comes on here. Xx
I so agree. Mum was in a wheelchair for outings/appointments the last few years. Although I could get the wheelchair out of the back it sometimes meant going forward into a space if close to a wall. Followed by struggles to get the chair beside the car close enough for Mum to transfer. Followed by tricky backing out unsighted afterwards. Even now I do have to remember to allow enough space for Mr D to fully open his door as he has a metal-straight leg. So please send John my sympathy...
