can anyone help. My elderly dad us in excruciating pain after his radiotherapy treatment. After each treatment it gets worse.
He’s taking codeine but it’s not working.
its so hard to see him in such pain

Hi . Sorry to hear your dad is in pain after his radiotherapy. We know this can cause pain, but he needs to let his doctors know he is suffering. When I was having my radio, I had a weekly catch up with a doctor to discuss any problems. This should be dad's opportunity to talk about it. Has he been tested for any infection? Best wishes.
