Had the bladder tumour removed yesterday , told two weeks before results,

how long before the bleeding stops and the pain when you urinate ?

  • My first TURBT was murder Steve, I'd rather have had both boobs, an arm, & a leg off than go through it again.  But I did go through it again .... apart from UTI after every one it was fine but for the fear of the actual procedure.  Unfortunately my last 3 have been awful again, I just think my body's sick of it all now.  Anyway, how's it going with you today?  Hope you managed to speak to someone x

Hi Jane , I’m waiting for a date to start the next treatment, the one where they pour the stuff into your bladder, I’m feeling low at the moment , my workplace is going to take disciplinary action against me due to the amount of time I have had off , I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2018 and had to have time off work with that , I’m struggling with it all at the moment, sorry to go on but I live alone and don’t have anyone to talk to ,

how are you ? Thank you for your kindness

    love Steve

  • Hi Strummer33, no way anyone's employer can take action against someone with a cancer diagnosis. Can your GP offer support or maybe the Macmillan Advisors? Rotten to have that stuff to worry about on top of ill health. Please feel you can share how you feel with us, we all understand. Best wishes. x
