Hi All. How is everyone doing? Anyone stuck indoors? Remember, this is a support group, and things don't always need to be medical. There is usually someone here if you just want a chat, a moan, or any stories. My wife has been stocking up on paint, so guess what I will be doing in the near future. Best wishes.
Thanks Inanna. The night nurse rung early this morning to say mum had a comfortable night.Xx
Hi Jane, holding you and your mum in my thoughts at this hard saying goodbye time. It's a beautiful sunny day here with a sparkling blue sky. Cold and crisp, there was a hoar frost this morning....proper winter weather. Hope your mum is able to slip away in peace and comfort. I'm sure she will be feeling blessed that she has two loving daughters who care for her so much. You will have many happy memories to look back on. H xxx
Thanks H,A few minutes ago I was remembering mum making us laugh doing her pheasant impression on the phone when she was in hospital in 2004.I looked out of the kitchen window and there was a male pheasant sitting on the wall near the shed.We have pheasants around in the fields but it’s only the second time I have ever had one in the garden.I’ve lived here 24 years next month. It’s cold but sunny here too and frosty.I wanted to get a photo of the pheasant but next door’s cat appeared and it went off.Love Jane xx
