Hi All. How is everyone doing? Anyone stuck indoors? Remember, this is a support group, and things don't always need to be medical. There is usually someone here if you just want a chat, a moan, or any stories. My wife has been stocking up on paint, so guess what I will be doing in the near future. Best wishes.
Hi Jane, sorry to hear about your mum. Hope you and your sister can support each other through this sad time. xxx
Hi Clare, sorry to hear of your family's illness and that things are so busy for you. Hope you will save some time and energy to look after yourself too. xx
Hi Jane
I am sorry to read your post. I lost my Mum 6 years ago today. When it happened there was a feeling of relief as she was not suffering anymore but the grief happened big time. You will now grieve for her. Please do not rush this or try to brush it aside. She will always be with you and eventually the grief will become gentle as it has for me.
My thoughts are with you and your sister. Google 'the seven stages of grief' it helped me a lot
Love Inanna x
Hi Clare,I’m so sorry about your husband’s uncle. You do sound like you have a lot to deal with at the moment.I hope hubby will rest a bit to heal his rib.My aunt broke hers in the bath a few years ago. It’s cold here too.I was working in the garden this morning. It helps keeping busy.Love Jane xx
Thanks H,Sarah & I are glad to have each other.John has been brilliant,I’m lucky to have such a supportive partner. He is upset too,he is so fond of mum.I hope all is well with you ? Love Jane x
Dear Jane, a dual reply, First sorry for delay re sister in law. hectic few days, electricians Thurs/Fri last week prior to decorators Mon-yesterday this week, and today sister in law went walkabout again. Mercifully a neighbour spotted her already a mile from home getting onto a Southend-bound bus, and soon after, a carer from the company now looking after her spotted her.. So she was ferried home safe. But lots of phone calls again as a result...
Secondly and rather more importantly, so very sorry to hear that your brave Mum's life is drawing to a close after such long suffering. So glad you have been able to visit, hope you have plenty of good memories to sustain you in the time to come; from what you've said here and there I guess you have...thoughts are with you and your sister and indeed John and other family.
