Hi All. How is everyone doing? Anyone stuck indoors? Remember, this is a support group, and things don't always need to be medical. There is usually someone here if you just want a chat, a moan, or any stories. My wife has been stocking up on paint, so guess what I will be doing in the near future. Best wishes.
Thanks Denby,There are so many potholes around at the moment. We have had so much rain that it’s impossible to avoid them all.I’m not sure John knows which pothole it was.Hopefully on the home straight now though have worries concerning Sarah’s partner. No change there.I expect he is pleased he is causing me anxiety.I hope all is well with you and the family ? Love Jane xx
Getting by thanks Jane. Light at the end of the tunnel of clearing our late friend's flat. A van comes this afternoon to move all his electronics stuff 150 miles to our old workmate, and British Heart Foundation Friday for all the furniture. People needing new home/start over getting kitchen stuff. Then we're done with the practical and can move on to the neglected paperwork from home, no more 70 mile round trips
Hi Winkers,
Potholes are indeed a menace country-wide. Hope John gets help quickly.
Re your sister's partner, always think living well is the best revenge.
Hope all goes well on Wednesday. Do the important stuff then the rest can be done as you feel like it.
All the best,
Latestart x
That will be a relief for you, travelling is tiring on top of the responsibility. The removal men will have a suprise when they try to fit everything into the new house. It has not worked out as I planned but at least I will have everything in one place instead of 5.Xx
Hi Denby,
It's stories like these that keep reminding me to clear things out (especially papers) while I can.
It's been in every day's diary since New Year (and to be fair well before that) but am just upstairs to make a start (promise).
Hope you can shred most of the paperwork you've taken on. That's my general idea, anyway.
All the best,
Latestart
Yes, indeed, and thanks. There's been so much that when we discovered that at our local tip, we could chuck old personal papers in whole to the lorry container, and cover them up with other people's stuff, all going straight to the paper mill, we gave up on shredding it.
The job ahead for us now is dealing with the finances.
Power to your clear out!
