Hi Jane, Mr Halofan is trying to get back from scotland ( been visiting his mum, she has dementia ) , I will be less worried once he is home. I hope you have all the supplies you need to stay indoors and keep warm. There is a piece of guttering in the wisteria but it’s too windy to investigate where that has fallen from.This reminds me of mum’s funeral which was on the day of storm Eunice.It was a scary trip to the crematorium dodging falling debris and trees in the road.Love Jane xx

It's definitely a gale here too, with rain coming later. Also on a hill with lots of trees. We went around the park earlier - wind assisted at some points - for our walk before breakfast and were looking out to miss any falling branches. Managed a circuit though not a very restful one!

Hi Latestart,It’s been raining heavily since yesterday here on the Somerset/Dorset/Wilts border.I read that they have closed Longleat nearby due to damage.
I’m waiting to hear back from my sister as she lives in a caravan so hope she is ok.Stay safe and warm.xx
