Hi All. How is everyone doing? Anyone stuck indoors? Remember, this is a support group, and things don't always need to be medical. There is usually someone here if you just want a chat, a moan, or any stories. My wife has been stocking up on paint, so guess what I will be doing in the near future. Best wishes.
Hi RayMK,Thanks. How are feeling ? I hope the catheter is not giving too much pain.I have an ant problem here too. They love the lawn, well it’s more weeds than grass.A smaller garden is top of my list for a new place.I shall miss the garden here very much even though it’s hard work.A couple of viewers have loved the garden but most have thought it was too much work.It wouldn’t be difficult to make it lower maintenance though.Jane x
Beautiful flowers jane thanks, is that white cosmos ?
really sorry to hear John is still unwell. I hope things start to get better for you both. It must be difficult to keep your spirits up with all the worry you have been through . Sending you a wrap around hug and hope that you feel it xx
Much love Angela x
Thanks Angela,It’s a rose that scrambles up a goat willow tree.I’m sure it will be easier once John’s health is better and I have moved. We keep each other motivated.Enjoying the garden with the robin duo and I expect the tame blackbird will show up soon.Hugs Jane xx
Hi Jane, sorry that John is still feeling poorly, hope he soon is feeling better, it’s annoying that there’s no movement on house sale yet, I think things are still quite slow, but fingers crossed you will soon have a buyer.
It must be hard for you to keep up with the garden, it does look like a treasure trove of plants but it takes a lot to keep up with it, I have started to harvest now, it’s all grown from seed but it’s where I am happy so it’s a win win xxxx
Hi Jean,I thought you would probably be harvesting after all your hard work growing.I’ve come in now as it’s a bit too hot but have done some shearing and weeding.John has been a bit better but he is still in pain which is a concern. The estate agent said they are busy so I have to keep optimistic it will sell eventually. It’s a shame I couldn’t get it on the market the year before last but it was full of stuff. There are still things to be recycled or dumped when I can get a lift.I recycled a large amount of items with the help of my aunt.Jane x
It feels more like Autumn today, very heavy rain and wind.A couple are coming to view the house on Monday.Fingers crossed viewing picks up.My neighbours have reduced the price of theirs and have changed agents again.Mine is considerably cheaper in view of the work that needs doing.Love to all Jane xx
Good luck with the house sale. Things still a bit stagnant round here.
According to my brother, having lots of work to do put buyers off my Mum's house last year. He's insisted on doing lots of work while we wait for Land Registry registration before trying to sell again. If I were buying, I'd prefer a cheaper property to do up how I want, but perhaps most people don't want that bother.
