Cheers Garv and Jane. I just try and help where I can. Best wishes to you and yours.
Hello Jane, I hope you and John had/ are having a nice Christmas. Do you recall me asking for advice regarding my Sister in law’s Chemo(Brain) fog following her pancreatic cancer operation? We have cajoled and pleaded with our brother in law to encourage her to exercise and stimulate her brain with variety, puzzles and music etc. He did none of these. She has got worse and is often confused and her short term memory is awful. Finally, we told him to get her to her GP. He reluctantly agreed. She had a memory test yesterday which didn’t go well followed by a blood test. At 8.00 pm last night in the middle of our Curry she received a phone call with the results. Again not good she was admitted to Hospital this morning for more tests on her kidney and a brain scan followed by more memory tests. A lesson for us all to be vigilant with our loved ones. Garviv
