Thanks to the NHS my RC is now successfully done.the staff and treatment have been wonderful . Surgery lasted 6 hours. And 3 hours after that I was awake. It was done using the latest robotic machine. I am in no pain at the moment in ICU. Thanks to you all on this wonderful forum, And special 1:1 support you know who you are.
Thanks again.
Leo

Great news Leo
Delighted that the operation went well! I’m sure you’ve been given the same information as when I had my RC 6 weeks ago; expect to feel most exhausted & drained 2 days afterwards (so if the Op was Wednesday, Friday will probably be the most tiring day).
your recovery continues at it’s initial excellent level!
Best wishes
Gareth
Age52BladderC cheers Gareth bound to be a bump or two on the road to recovery
