Just a little update for you. The Nephrostomy went fine on Monday and I came home Tuesday and now I’ve had a few days to get used to my new appendages. The procedure itself was such a weird feeling but went without a hitch. I’m so glad I found the Nephrostomy support group on Facebook. They were really a great help to give me some idea of what to expect. As you probably know, it was the thing I dreaded most and has turned out not to be the nightmare I expected, so that’s a good thing. I can’t help but wonder now if I should start dreading the Gem/Cis treatment that starts on the 23rd, as up to now that has been the least of my worries. I’d rather fear the worst and be pleasant surprised than vice versa.
best wishes to you all. Love Linda x
