BCG. Today, treatment 2 done …

Hi Marco, I had 3 lots of BCG for the same cancer as you, the nurses applying were fantastic, the treatment not too nice as the bleeding on the day was painful after the chemicals kicked in, fortunately the bleeding was only for the day!

I was diagnosed in 2018 and the BCG has kept the cancer away, no reoccurrences to date, so I can testify that it works, or at least for me.

Thanks Ken. Glad to hear it worked well for you!! I didn't have any bleeding and didn't feel any kicking in of chemicals..... hopefully it is more to do with individual reaction than with the treatment working worse... but we will know soon enough. Good luck for a TTC free future!

Hi, good to hear its going ok . I have had 9 so far, all good , feel a bit tired next day but a good excuse for a nap lol. Waiting to start 10, 11, 12, in the next few weeks .

Hi Marco, my second treatment is on Tuesday . Ive also had minimal side effects , but a strange pain in my hip, like a stitch. I’ve been very tired in the evenings, but that’s it really. Let’s hope it continues eh? 
I have been told that the third one of six is when side effects can be more, but then we’ll be half way through. Good luck on your journey 

Hi Jimmyma2,  I had my 4th treatment last Thursday.  No new side effects... all like the other times. Indeed,  let's hope it carries on like that, and most of all,  that it manages to keep the TCC at bay...
