sorry I don’t really know where to put this or what stage my grandfather is at. He’s 90 so doctors have said surgery is out of the question it would be to invasive for him. So at the moment he’s doing quiet well but the thought of food is making him feel sick, I’m doing little and often but he’s also not drinking a great deal, which I’m getting 1.5 litre of squash into him a day this past week as now I need to see him everyday, due to him not eating or drinking if I wasn’t around.
I think it’s end of life care and what to expect this cancer to do and also I probably just need some support as well.
Hi Pkmla and welcome to the community, although sorry to hear about your grandfather. I know how hard it is when we have a loved one in this situation. We have a very supportive group here you may find it helpful to join and post in, Supporting Someone with incurable cancer . There you will find others who are supporting family members and friends, and who understand. Click the link and post in the group to introduce yourself. Best wishes.
Thank you so much for your reply. I really do appreciate it x
