Radiotherapy treatment just begun for left side breast cancer

I have just had left breast mastectomy.    I start my 3 weeks of radiotherapy in January.    Sorry I don’t know about the side effects.    I developed an annoying cough during chemo

I'm sorry to hear that you've both been diagnosed with breast cancer and I hope you don't mind me replying to you jointly.

Could I suggest that you join and post your question about side effects in the breast cancer group as the people over there are very knowledgeable. They also have a dedicated thread where people can ask questions specifically to do with radiotherapy.

To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and ask questions after selecting 'start a discussion' and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.

When you have a minute it would be really useful if could pop something about your journeys so far into your profile as it helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Edit Profile'.
