Hi Eddie, thank you for the welcome back. There is a lot to get through! Just this thread alone is very fast moving.... you blink you can miss it!
Thank you Ellie, I did post on the lung group earlier. There are a whole new lot of names to learn. Hope you are doing ok x
No, thank you Chelle, you are our champion, in every sense of the word.
Eddie xx
Good morning
I had a fab time in London. We ate at a Persian place for dinner. It was great. I especially enjoyed the saffron ice cream. Apparently the owner’s mum made it. Their drinks are really nice too. Wi rose in them but not too overwhelming.
We had a look around the ceramic shop MUD Australia and I bought two vases as Christmas presents to me. Then went walk about and see many lights around the city
Hope you are feeling a bit better today Eddie. How often do you have to have them? Gosh you have so many hospital appointments. You need your own PA to organise them all. xx
Hi Stella, now that's a good looking meal, and it tastes as good as it looks
Hi Stella, I have no idea what I'm looking at, but it looks delicious, and it sounds like you had another wonderful day in London, and doesn't the milder weather help, I've been to my local cancer charity today, I have been helping the resident counsellor, set up a support group for those of us with metastatic cancer, and it's finally starting in early January, it's taken five months, I also met some friends there for lunch, and had a massage, "a Christmas present", lovely, and just had dinner with family, we had cauliflower soup.
I'm feeling much better today, thank you, and only have the injections every three months and only 2 appointments before Christmas, 2 phone calls and a morning at my hospice, not sure what we're doing tomorrow, how about you Stella, any thoughts on tomorrow.
Eddie xx
Well done for setting up support group, you are amazing.
I have got a message from my oncologist, said I have a 5mm kidney stone (from recent CT). The urology team recommended a stent even though I have no pain from it. I am not keen on this as I had stent before and it can become uncomfortable and infected.
Because of this, I actually looked at my CT scan report and it said my tumour at the pelvic area is 5x 3 cm not 18mm as previously thought! I am a bit shocked by the size and felt really down now. I have to face the chemotherapy tomorrow. Just felt really down again.
It just feel relentless and so hard to find any light.

Good evening Stella. I am delighted to see you have had such a splendid time in London. Plenty of memories to look back on over the cold winter nights. The food is looking delicious. I hope to go to London to see my daughter around Easter time. I the past I usually stayed with her for a few long weekends to enjoy a trip to the Opera and Theatre. Have a cosy evening

Hi Alana
Thank you. I am glad I went and really enjoyed ourselves. I think the key at this stage in life is to say yes to any ideas and life. It can all change in a split second.
Winston is not too happy being abandoned for the night though.
Oh Stella what a lovely furry friend you have. Lilly is sound asleep under the quilt. It is very windy here yet again and she is not a fan of storms. I am just finishing my chapter and will go and try to get some sleep. The last couple of night have been a bit challenging . Sweet dreams to all of you
love Alana and Lilly xx
