Hi Alana
I do travel further north occasionally, but I find driving long distances quite uncomfortable nowadays, so if I do need to travel, I try to drive to Dumfries, or Girvan, and get a train.
I did recently have a meet-up with a couple of forum members on here.....in Glasgow. It was great fun!
If we do this again, I'd rather wait until the spring/summer. It would be great to get to know people a bit better!
My part of Scotland is rather out of the way, i must admit.

Hi Lee, Must be nice having a PA, (thank you Mrs L), I could be doing with one myself. Please remember I was Stage4 incurable, no treatment available until I got on a Trial Drug, so hope yours is a miracle one just like mine!!

Hi Angie, We will be seeing our children and grandchildren on Christmas Day, which makes it perfect for us! That is what Christmas is all about. However I am not so keen on New Year!

Good morning Annette. I have not celebrated Hogmanay for years myself. Usually I have a cosy evening at home just by myself and go to bed around 22.00 ish. I got to like it that way. Of course in years gone by we used to have a party or went to a function. Funny how one’s habits change over the years. Wishing you all a pleasant day and good luck if results are pending.
Love Alana and Lilly xx
Hi
I am on the train to London. I have put on make up, done my hair, and dressed up a bit too. It does make me feel not like a cancer patient anymore.
Eddie how was your drive back? It must be a long journey. How was your appointment today? Are you feeling OK with the new pills?
Alana how is your tiredness going? Did you have sun at the weekend?
How was everyone‘a weekend? Any plan for this week?

That's the way to go, your still Stella, if you have Cancer or perhaps another type of illness.
Do not let cancer take away who you are.
Enjoy your trip.
Hi everyone, just popping in to say hello. I have been away from the site for a while, but am now back and busy trying to catch up with everyone's news!
Wow Stella, back to London, if it's on the train I hope you have a season ticket, and great to hear your going to get on with living your life, and getting dressed up too, good for you. I look forward to hearing all about it.
It was nearly10 hours getting home, Stella, but such a fun journey, my travelling companions were fab and both in their 80s, and appointment at ACHD, a regular set of tests, my Echo and ECG, picked up a murmur, so booked a heart CT+dye on the 30tth of December, a hour after my MRI spine, at the same hospital, fab.
I'm ok with the new pills thank you Stella, just minor things, and just had my ADT injection which I only booked at 9am this morning, I feel awful, but nothing I've not felt before, some rest and I will be fine. How was London.

Welcome back Chelle, It's great to hear from you again, you have been missed, and good luck catching up with what's happening on the forum, I'm on most days and I'm often stumped, maybe it's a gender thing lol

Nice to see you did go on the lung group, no where to be found, and here you are.
Was missed, just seeing your name.
