  • Bubblss as you have asked this before and had several replies can I suggest you call the Welfare Rights Advisers on the Macmillan support line who can answer this for you.  If you could give them a call on freephone 0808 808 0000 they will be able to help you.

  • Hi ,

My name's Tom and I'm part of the Online Community team here at Macmillan, I hope you don't mind me posting here.

The best thing to do would be to get in touch with our Welfare Rights Team as they will be best placed to help you with this. You can read all about them by clicking here.

You can call them on freephone 0808 808 00 00 7 days a week from 8am till 8pm, as Chelle mentioned earlier.

Everyone's situation can be a little different so it's worth talking things through with them.

Aside from on the telephone you can contact them by webchat or email on this page.

If there's anything we on the Community team can do to guide you further, please don't hesitate to email us directly at community@macmillan.org.uk anytime.

  • Hi chellisimo

yes I know I have asked this before but just to let you know I have extreme telephobia  income it extremely difficult to talk to strangers in the phone so in was just trying to ascertain if anyone has gone through the situation of renewing a pip with a ds1500.

    Always remain positive.

  • Hi ,

That makes sense, we understand that not everyone is comfortable in talking things through over the phone.

For help with your question online, there are two options below.

You can get welfare rights advice over webchat on this page. Simply press ‘Chat to us’ or ‘Chat’ in the bottom right hand corner and select ‘Welfare Benefits & Grants’ in the subject.

You can also fill out a form, to ask them a question by email (and get a response that way), on this page.

Hopefully one of these options can help you find the answers you're looking for .

    Kindest Regards,
