Good morning everyone. Welcome to the July thread of chit chat.
Good morning Patrick. I keep waking at 530 and can’t get back to sleep, it’s very annoying, but does give me time to catch up on things. Hope you are enjoying some cooler weather x
Good morning Coddfish
Isn’t it nice and cool here on the south coast now. They have said it will get hot again next week, and I’m dreading it ! I am trying to pack the house up ready to move. I have been going through lots of clothes, books, ornaments and doing lots of drop off’s to the charity shops. X
Good morning. Happy 1st July. Stella, odd question I know, but have you managed to find any Ortis Fruit and Fibre cubes. I can't find any on ebay or amazon.

We spent last week on Jersey in the heatwave. Beautiful but in a hotel room without air conditioning. Temperature briefly touched 40 degrees on Thursday. Getting out of our air conditioned car, the outdoors felt hotter than a sauna. We struggle with the heat at home a bit too and we have our daughter and her 7 month old visiting this weekend, so the portable ac unit we have in our bedroom will need to spend a few days in theirs. But I am not having to pack up a house in it. Today’s exertions limited to a trip to the hospital for a port flush, a local lunch with husband and friends and then a trip to the learning disabled adult’s charity where I am a Trustee.
Is your move local?

Oh I love Jersey, but wouldn’t like a hotel without air con! I can imagine how uncomfortable that must of been. I think we will have to have to invest in a portable air con unit, but they seem to be out of stock everywhere at the moment.
We are only moving 20 minutes away, but to a bungalow, it is time to say goodbye to these stairs!
How lovely to have your daughter and grandbaby come to visit. That is worth giving up the air con for.
Hope the port flush goes well. Have a lovely lunch. My other half will be home early today as I am told there is an important football match on. X
