Oh I'mmsorry you're having such a rough time. Bowel care I such a crutial part of keeping us well and comfortable so I hope things are improving. I can highly recommend a wheelchair, save your energy for the good stuff.
Thinking of you and sending a gentle hug xx
Glad to see you again Jim. You have my sympathy with the stomach. I find the opiate based pain killers stop my bowels completely. After much messing around my GP and I found that two 7.5mg senna and a couple of bisocodyl work wonders. Bisocodyl improves the motility of the stomach and moves things through the senna keeps it soft. Anyway enough talking shit. Have a great Easter
Richard
be safe, be nice, be you
Glad to hear from you Jim. I'm sure they can give you something to help your bowels. I have pills to start it and pills to stop it, it's just a matter of finding the balance.
Take care.

Hi Jim, So sorry you are having problems, I hope you get something soon to get things sorted out. I would think many of us here have bowel problems because painkillers cause constipation, so we take meds for that, then have diarrhoea. As others have said it's a case of finding the correct balance between starting the bowels moving but stopping it before it gets out of hand. I have diverticulitis and sometimes something works but next time it doesn't so it's a fine line! Good luck.
What a great idea buying a summer house with your cruise money. The summer house can be used all spring and summer and also during nice autumnal and winter days. I'm sure your cruise was maybe two weeks, so lots of extra quality time to be had. I can just imagine lovely lunches and candlelight dinners while listening to the birds!
Love Annette x
Don't base everyone on your own standards SiT. I think you are more au fait with dodgy websites than Jim is.
Candlelight dinners sound very nice.........?
