Hi, does anyone have any advice on how to avoid pancaking?
I’ve had my stoma for 8 weeks now & it’s something that’s occurred on & off but pretty much all the time in the last 2 weeks?
I've been measuring by stoma to make sure I cut the bags correctly, adding roll up bits of toilet paper & baby oil but nothing seems to work. My stoma nurse gave me some different bags to try but alas nothing.
Any advice, tips or tricks would be appreciated.
Kind regards,
JBJ
Perhaps The Halifax could supply little labels to put on the pouches in case we misgender. (It's a peep-hole thing.) As it happens Charlie Farnsbarns identifies as 'neuter' so 'it' does just fine. The number of orifices it has is its own business - so to speak. ;-)
After much consideration Whoopi is……. It
I feel that’s much more apt for it
Have a good day

Hi all,
Just thought I’d let you know that rubbing the bag together after adding baby oil worked a treat. A combination of that & using the stickers supplied with the convex bags to cover the filter seem to have solved my pancaking problem, touch wood.
Thanks you all for your help!
JBJ.
