Everyone must be bored silly hearing me go on about this but I've had another few weeks of constant diahorrea followed by constipation! I take Immodium to stop and Senna to start! It would be funny if it wasn't ruining my life! My stoma nurse adviced taking 1 Senna every night, which I did on Saturday! Sunday only a very little output but Monday, OMG!! One gurggle and that was it, bag nearly bursting off my body and it just wouldn't stop! Sorry to be so graphic but it was horrendous! This time I haven't taken Immodium and it did stop after an hour or so! This morning I phoned the Stoma Clinic and I've been told to go back to bland foods! I haven't a clue how to make something interesting out of mashed potatoes, chicken and white rice, no veg ! Oh, forgotten bananas and smooth peanut butter! I hate sounding so sorry for myself, apologies everyone! It wouldn't be so bad if I knew WHY this is happening after 16 months but no-one seems to know!
Apologies again,
Moira x
Hi Ann
Oh gosh-a fistula would be horrible. Several of my friends have them and I know it makes life difficult. But the main thing is the cancer is out and even if there’s no reversal you know you can cope with Whoopi.
I had an EUA at one point with a biopsy-nice straight forward procedure and a lovely cup of tea and toast afterwards!

Kath, a tankini has been a game changer for me-so nice and simple being able to whip off the bottoms!
Sarah xx
I’m not worried about the procedure. I’ll be asleep and dreaming of that pool.
Im better with Whoopi than before. I spent most of my day sat on the toilet trying to poo so I’m in control now. If they say I’m good to reverse I’ll give it a go. If not I’ll book Ireland in December. I’m not sure I want a reversal. Before the operation I wanted it done asap but reading some of the struggles afterwards it’s almost like going back to how I was before.
So today is the preop, Friday Stoma nurse I phoned them as I may go back to flat bags and they realised they’d only seen me twice since my op 22nd EUA then 24th CT.
Roll on September. Ha ha
Enjoy this gorgeous weather
Ann
Hi Kath
I know. I checked out Asda as I’ve bought there before sold out Matalan sold out so I’ve paid expensive but it’s a lovely coverall. Cocosummer they have a sale on but still pricey with postage
it’s ordered has a racing back. There’s some good reviews so I will let you know what it’s like. I ordered one beginning season from a cheap site. It’s not fit to swim in as the top is really baggy. I’d need a bra underneath.
Finders crossed I’m happy with my new order.
I’ve had the same with finding nice underwear.
Ann
Hi Ann,
I've been keeping up with your news and your reversal finally seems to be going well, thank goodness! You had such a terrible time at first!
All is well here on the whole but Brooke has decided to suddenly have become overactive again! No reason that I can think of but 3 pouches, full to bursting on Thursday! Still, she was good on holiday, so I can't have everything! Hopefully she'll settle soon!
Take care,
Moira x
It’s pure attention seeking Brooke is stamping her feet. She needs to relax.
You sound in good form Moira. All good here. The suns out thank goodness. Mr brother is arriving tomorrow from Spain he’s suffering hot flushes with his prostate treatment think they’re not going to show here. I’ve got him a woolly jumper.
Will be lovely to be together we should be there but we cancelled as my op seemed more important.
Hope you have a lovely weekend
Ann
Have a wonderful time with your brother Ann and maybe plan your next holiday to Spain! I'm counting the weeks until Xmas when my son and his family are visiting from the USA! 4 years since we've seen them so we'll have a lot to cram into those 6 days they'll be here!
Take care,
Moira x
