Morning everyone.
How do people feel when they get a bit dehydrated?I have read about all the signs and symptoms.but wondered if anyone has noticed any other things.I start to feel a bit shaky inside and would love to know if anyone else has had anything similar.
Sorry if that all sounds a bit confused but I wasnt sure how to put it.
Kath
Hi Kath
For me it’s a headache and dark wee, so I up my water intake. I’m very bad at remembering to drink enough. Are you feeling off this morning?

I can feel a little dizzy Kath, and like the room is spinning. Almost like having vertigo. It’s horrible, but I’ve always presumed it was me not drinking enough water. I take a bottle of water to bed and try and drink at least half a litre before I go to sleep. Sometimes that’s a struggle though! But I do feel better if I do that. Hope you feel better as the day goes on.

Sarah.I know what you mean about remembering to drink enough.
I take a drink bottle to bed and my son in law has given me some electrolyte tablets from his cycling to put in it.I try to remember when I get up in the night to empty "fred" but dont always.
Thanks again
Kath
Hi Kath, I definitely feel a little shaky, a bit like a hangover, and I take a hydration tablet such as your son in law has given you during the day if I feel like that. The one I use is called ORS and is quite pleasant to drink.
Cheers, John
Hi Katz
Thanks for putting this thought up. I have had the hangover feeling in the mornings and just thought it was me or early onset Covid! Now I realise in the summer I drank lots of water and isotonic drinks winter time I am struggling with it
I will get some ORS
Thanks Kath and John
Ann
I don’t think it’s just you Kath! I also have the hydration sachets and tend to feel a little “boost” when I remember to add them to my water! I just wish I could remember to drink more in general.
