My heart feels like it's absolutely shattered... My brother has been diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma with 2 confirmed sites. It all started just over a month ago, I took him to hospital after he suffered an injury at work that caused unexplained swelling in his one leg... it took 3 weeks for us to find out that the cause of the swelling was cancer. Following his cancer diagnosis he was diagnosed with lymphodemia caused by the biopsy that he needed to have done. He's only 21 and I feel like my whole world has stopped.

It can be so difficult dealing with how we feel when family get a cancer diagnosis so I am really glad you found your way to our community.

Sarcoma is a,rare type of cancer and we have a special group here Soft tissue sarcomas forum , my wife has Leiomyosarcoma so I often post there.

Janice had two lots of chemotherapy and her cancer has been stable now for over 10 years.

Hey Justlilixo . I’ve just joined this group so I know that this is a very late reply, but I just wanted to reply because my brother also has cancer. Mine got diagnosed over 2 years ago, and it really did feel like the world had stopped. There’s so many feelings to deal with at once, some which feel contradictory. It’s not easy. Take time for yourself, don’t put your own feelings to the side because it’s so difficult and how you’re feeling matters. You’re not alone, sending love
