  • Hi

Often pain from cancer can come when a tumour presses on a nerve and there will certainly be options that can be offered - even drugs that might not normally be available due to possible addiction risk. I have know cases where people do not want to take pain killers as they feel things are supposed to hurt and some people say that the pain can make them feel more alive.

My wife sometimes gets cramps, in particular at night and when she spoke to our GP about this they did some blood tests and found she was slightly deficient in some simple minerals - a short course of supplements really helped her.
