Sometimes I feel really lonely as I’m the youngest and the only one left at home a lot falls on me which I’m fine with but some days it’s really tough being the strong one
Hi and a very warm welcome to Carers. I understand what it's like to be the carer young in the family and how stressful it can be. Most places we can go to physically for help are closed while we're in lockdown. It might be helpful to look through Emotional Support for carers and Maggie's Centres are wonderful for courses in coping with the stress of being a carer. We all need somewhere to go to channel the stress so it doesn't build up too much. If you'd like to chat, our helpline is open on 0808 808 0000 every day 8am-8pm and is manned by experts who can help.
Thinking of you,
LoobyLou
If you find dust in my house, write your name in it. When the signatures overlap I'll get the polish.
