My husband had lung cancer in 2018 had surgery and some chemo to help chances of it not recurring. Thought all was well but he started getting jaw pain in October 2019 dentist thought it was neuralgia. Visited various places over this but to cut long story short it was tongue cancer. He was finally admitted to hospital with this and then get sepsis so he died very quickly. I feel so guilty that we didn't know it was cancer sooner just needed to share this.
Hi , I am so sorry to read about your husband's passing. Guilt is a natural emotion after losing a loved one even though there was nothing more you could have done since, as you say you, 'visited various places'. When you feel up to it you will find a lot of support in Bereaved Spouses and Partners, they're a lovely bunch and will come round you and support you with kindness.
Sending much love,
LoobyLou
