Good Morning, I have been caring for my mum full-time for 7 weeks as we thought she had malnutrition and kept falling. She had a stay in hospital for 6 weeks at the beginning of the year and every scan imaginable, I took her to a different hospital on Friday with a suspected UTI and she was kept in. She was diagnosed yesterday with an 8cm tumour in her stomach that has spread to her liver. I and the family are totally devastated and completed shocked as it was led out in February 2020. My mum is only 5 stone in weight and we cannot visit her in hospital due to Covid 19 which is one of the cruellest things at the moment. We just want to bring her home and care for her at home, enjoy what time we have left with her. We do not have a prognosis yet but we know it will not be bright. She is too weak and frail, we are obviously quite angry that it was not picked up before but we are putting that to one side at the moment to manage our grief. I know it is a million dollar question but are we looking at weeks or months from people's experiences?
