Then to top it the poor sod had a full blown seizure on Saturday and they reckon he has brain mets now Pensive We have 2 kids (3 and 6) and I’m struggling to cope now, with caring for hubby, paperwork, looking after the boys I feel so drained, afraid and scared CryCry and this covid is not helping! As no one can help me xx

I hope that somewhere in all that you are doing you can have sometime to yourself.  Cry, rest,  do whatever you need to keep doing the amazing job you are. You must feel exhausted. I hope that you find this forum helpful, it's good to write things down and share., we all help each other if we can. Don't be afraid to reach out xx

  • Hi and a warm welcome to Carers. I can hear your tiredness in your words and normally I would suggest asking for a carers assessment but they've been put on hold during lockdown. It might be best to contact PALS in the hospital where your husband is being treated as they will know what help is available; please do call them, with 2 young children you need all the help you can get. If the paperwork you have to do is a part of your husband's treatment and support, you could call the helpline on 0800 808 0000 from 8am-8pm and they will be able to help. Please let me know how you get on.

    Love and hugs,

If you find dust in my house, write your name in it. When the signatures overlap I'll get the polish.
