Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Ah, that explains the Mackhem sideswipe then. But well done on ending your trophy drought and Eddie Howe getting freedom of the city. Did you go to the parade? We'd have loved to have been able to go to ours but it was a no no for obvious reasons. Maybe another time.
Don't worry, I won't grass that you wanted them (I can't even say the words, let alone write them!) to beat Villa, but how could you?!!!
Just kidding, H and me once had a bet that was crucial they won their match so we'd get the money. Through gritted teeth, we gave them a grudging thumbs up. We didn't feel great about it though. Such is the rivalry of football.
Have a good evening Magpie Steve.

The Man Utd thing was in case we got beat by Everton.
I wanted to go to the parade but I am still wary of crowds, and avoid people whenever possible. I was gutted!
Mainly because of what work put me through in 2023. But I won't go into that.

Hi again.
I appreciate you might be in kip now as not everyone's as sleep shy as I am, but cheers for your reply.
Aye, I can understand how gutted you were about missing the parade as we were sickened too. We'd no chance though - H's mobility is still well under par and no way could he have coped with huge crowds. I did watch the whole thing on my phone afterwards so was pretty chuffed with that.
In the 90s, my youngest daughter was a massive PJ and Duncan fan and saw them live a few times. Anyway, because they were/are Newcastle fanatics, I bought her a team sweatshirt and she was thrilled to bits with it. It did look incongruous, hanging on the washing line between her Leeds shirts though. Now if they'd have been supporters of the unmentionable side my purse would have remained firmly shut!
Sleep well,
Gill xx
Haha! She was totally in love with them but young teens' brains aren't fully developed. Ooh, low blow!
Yep, we're looking forward to the new season and hope we can make a good account of ourselves, so thanks for that.
The ref, officials and VAR will screw it up though, as we're not amongst the 'favoured ones'! I'm such a cynic.
Have a grand day,
Gill xx
Morning Steve (Stevecam)
I am aware you are at Ulls's celebration of life today - just back early this morning from Wembley.
Here's one for you - this season every team winning at Wembley has had the same end and had a bird representing them (Newcastle - magpie - Oldham - owl etc).
Kind Regards - Brian.

Hello Gill (Gill H)
I am 69 so it's the 3rd time I have been to Wembley - the first time we have won. It was an amazing day from start to finish and every Southend fan I met was a credit to their club - I wish them well next season - the National League isn't where they should be.
As for me it's "Party in the Park" tonight at Boundary Park - we will no doubt be singing "We are the boys in blue" by Cannon and Ball!! plus our song Mouldy Old Dough!! Happy Days .
Kind Regards - Brian xx

Brian, Sunderland had a black cat! Ulls had his coffin draped with a Sunderland flag. It looked good, but better if it was a Newcastle flag.
It was a nice quiet service, the sun shone for Ulls. I was in tears, for a change. Met up with eddiel . Good to put a face to the posts.
A massive thanks from Julie, Ulls' wife for all of the heartfelt messages!
