Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Hello Sally, and a warm welcome to our group.
You've certainly had an unfortunate chain of events my lovely, all out of your control, but it seems you're back on track, with your treatment imminent.
Do you have transport to the hospital? If not, you could phone them and it can be arranged as it sounds like you've got a fair old travel to make.
All the very best for the meeting with your oncologist, and fingers crossed for a positive outcome. Sending you warmest wishes xxx
Aw that's good Sally, and well done your daughter, a gem! Hopefully, she'll be able to attend your consultation too, as two pairs of ears are always better than one.
Just take things in your stride until your appointment, and try to take your mind off it by keeping yourself occupied with mundane things. You'll have much more information very soon, and hopefully will feel in a better place. Take care and here's a hug xxx
